Who we are
At Bold Kidswear, we create sensory-friendly outdoor clothing and accessories for children, including soft-lined wellington boots, raincoats and beanies for ages 0–12.
These Terms & Conditions explain how our UK online kids’ clothing store operates, how to place orders, delivery times, returns, refunds, promo codes and your rights under UK consumer law.
Please read them carefully before buying from our website.
This website is operated by Bold Kidswear (“Bold Kidswear”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

These terms and conditions apply to all purchases made on our website.
Section 1. Using our website
By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy and any other policies referred to here. If you do not agree, you should not use the site.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one shown at checkout when you place your order.
Section 2. Ordering & contract formation
-
When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy the products in your basket.
-
We’ll send you an order acknowledgement email confirming we’ve received your order. This is not acceptance.
-
A binding contract is formed only when we dispatch your goods and send you a dispatch confirmation email.
-
If we are unable to accept your order (for example, due to stock issues, payment problems or an obvious pricing error), we’ll let you know and refund you in full for any amounts taken.
You are responsible for ensuring that all details you provide in connection with your order (delivery address, email, sizing etc.) are accurate and complete.
Section 3. Products, descriptions & availability
We aim to ensure that product descriptions, photographs and other information on our website are accurate and up to date.
However:
-
Minor variations in colour, texture or finish can occur between the images on-screen and the actual product (for example due to screen settings or batch differences).
-
Sizing information is guidance only; there may be small tolerances.
These variations do not affect your statutory rights if goods are faulty, damaged or misdescribed.
All products are offered subject to availability. We do not guarantee that any product shown on the site will be in stock at all times.
Section 4. Prices & payment
-
All prices are shown in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.
-
The price you see at checkout is the total price for the products in your basket, including any applicable taxes and our standard UK delivery charge (unless you choose an upgraded service).
We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but any such changes will not affect orders we have already accepted.
Payment:
-
Payment is taken at checkout through our secure payment providers.
-
By submitting payment details, you confirm that you are authorised to use the chosen payment method.
-
Your card or payment method will be charged at the point you place your order.
Obvious pricing errors:
If we discover an obvious and unmistakeable pricing error that you could reasonably have recognised as such, we are not obliged to supply the product at the incorrect price. We will contact you and either give you the option of continuing the purchase at the correct price or cancelling with a full refund.
Section 5. Delivery
5.1 Where we deliver
We currently deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom and Ireland.
5.2 Delivery services & timescales
-
Orders are sent using tracked services.
-
Delivery times shown on the website or at checkout are estimates, not guarantees. External factors (couriers, weather, seasonal peaks) can cause delays.
We will dispatch your order within a reasonable timeframe and keep you updated if there are any significant delays.
5.3 When risk & ownership pass
-
Ownership (title) of the goods passes to you once we have received full payment.
-
Risk (responsibility for loss or damage) passes to you on delivery to the address you provided.
5.4 Lost or delayed parcels
If your order has not arrived within the estimated delivery window:
-
Please check any delivery notifications and with neighbours/local depot.
-
If it’s still missing, contact us at info@boldkidswear.com with your order number.
We’ll investigate with the courier and, where appropriate, replace the item(s) or refund you.
5.5 Incorrect or incomplete addresses / failed delivery
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
If:
-
the address is incorrect or incomplete, or
-
you do not rearrange delivery / collect from a depot within the courier’s timeframe,
the parcel may be returned to us. In those cases, we will:
-
either refund the item price (excluding original postage) or
-
offer to resend the order if you pay the additional postage costs.
We’ll confirm options with you by email.
Section 6. Your right to cancel (online orders)
If you are a consumer buying online, you have a legal right to change your mind under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.
6.1 Cooling-off period
You can cancel your order within 14 days of the day after you (or someone you nominate) receives the goods.
If your order is split into several deliveries, the 14 days runs from the day after the last item is delivered.
6.2 How to cancel
To exercise your right to cancel, you must clearly let us know before the 14-day period ends. You can:
-
Email: info@boldkidswear.com with your order number, your name, and a clear statement that you wish to cancel; or
-
Use any clear written statement (you do not have to use any specific form).
Once you’ve told us you’re cancelling:
-
You then have another 14 days to return the goods to us.
Section 7. Returns, exchanges & condition of goods
We want you to be happy with your purchase. In addition to your legal rights, we operate the following returns and exchanges policy for online orders.
7.1 How to start a return or exchange
Because we are not a physical store and use different fulfilment locations, we don’t publish a single returns address.
To start a return or exchange:
-
Email info@boldkidswear.com with:
-
your order number;
-
the item(s) you want to return or exchange; and
-
whether you would like a refund or exchange (and the replacement size/colour if applicable).
-
-
We’ll reply with:
-
confirmation of your eligibility;
-
the correct returns address for your parcel; and
-
any reference number you should include.
-
Do not send returns to any address other than the one we provide in our email, as this may delay or prevent your refund.
7.2 Condition of returned items
Unless the item is faulty or misdescribed, returned items must be:
-
unused and unworn (other than trying on for size);
-
in resaleable condition;
-
with all original tags, labels and packaging included.
You are allowed to handle the goods to the extent necessary to check their nature, characteristics and functioning (similar to how you would in a shop). If you handle them more than necessary and this reduces the value of the goods, we may:
-
make a reasonable deduction from your refund to reflect the diminished value; or
-
refuse a refund where items are returned in an unreasonably used or damaged condition.
7.3 Return postage
-
If you are exercising your cooling-off right to cancel (change of mind), you are responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us.
-
Return items using a tracked service and keep proof of posting. We are not responsible for returns lost in transit where you cannot show evidence of posting and tracking.
Where items are faulty, damaged or misdescribed, we will refund reasonable return postage costs or provide a prepaid label, as agreed with you in advance.
7.4 Exclusions from change-of-mind returns
Your legal right to change your mind may not apply to certain items where the law allows, for example:
-
personalised or custom-made items;
-
items that are sealed for health or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery, where we have clearly stated this restriction on the product page.
These exclusions do not affect your rights in relation to faulty or misdescribed goods.
Section 8. Faulty or misdescribed goods (Consumer Rights Act 2015)
If an item is faulty, damaged, or does not match the description:
-
Contact us at info@boldkidswear.com with your order number, details of the issue, and (if possible) clear photos.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you are entitled to the following:
-
A full refund if you notify us within 30 days of delivery (your “short-term right to reject”); or
-
A repair or replacement if a fault is reported after 30 days but within a reasonable time;
-
If the repair or replacement is impossible or fails, you may be entitled to a price reduction or final right to reject the goods.
These rights are in addition to any returns policy or guarantees we offer and your statutory rights are not affected.
Section 9. Refunds
Once we have:
-
received your returned item(s); or
-
received acceptable proof of posting,
we will process any refund without undue delay and in any event within 14 days.
Refunds will be made to the original payment method used to place the order.
Unless the whole order is being returned because of our error or a fault:
-
we will refund the item price and our standard outbound delivery cost only;
-
we will not refund any upgraded delivery options (e.g. next day, Saturday delivery).
For partial returns (you keep at least one item from the order), we generally do not refund the original delivery charge, except where required by law.
Section 10. Promo codes, offers & pre-orders
10.1 Promo codes & discounts
-
Promotional codes or discounts are valid only for eligible items and for the period stated.
-
They have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
-
Only one code can usually be used per order unless we state otherwise.
-
We may withdraw or change a promotion at any time where this does not affect orders already placed using that promotion.
10.2 Pre-orders
-
For pre-order items, any estimated release or shipping date is an estimate only.
-
If we are unable to supply a pre-order item, we will cancel that part of the order and refund you in full for that item.
-
Your statutory rights are not affected.
Section 11.Safety & proper use
Our products are designed for children but are not toys, unless expressly stated.
-
Children should wear and use our products under adult supervision, especially younger children and babies.
-
Regularly check items (including accessories) for signs of wear and tear and discontinue use if damaged.
-
Follow any care instructions on product labels to maintain performance and safety features (e.g. reflective trims).
We are not responsible for misuse of products that is inconsistent with the care and safety guidance provided.
Section 12. Liability
Nothing in these Terms:
-
limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
-
limits or excludes our liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
-
affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Subject to the above:
-
We are not liable for any loss or damage that was not reasonably foreseeable at the time the contract was made.
-
We are not liable for:
-
any loss of profit, revenue, business, or goodwill; or
-
any indirect or consequential loss
arising out of or in connection with your use of our website or any contract between us.
-
Our total liability for any claim arising under or in connection with a contract for goods shall not exceed the total price paid for the goods in that order, except where the law requires otherwise.
Section 13.Privacy & data protection
We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which explains:
-
what information we collect;
-
how we use it;
-
our legal bases for processing;
-
how long we keep your data; and
-
your rights under UK data protection law.
By using our website and placing orders, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.
Section 14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Changes will not apply retrospectively to orders we have already accepted.
Please check this page regularly to ensure you are aware of the current terms that apply to your use of the website.
Section 15.Contact details & how to cancel / start a return
If you wish to:
-
cancel an order under your cooling-off rights;
-
arrange a return or exchange; or
-
report a faulty or misdescribed item,
please email us at info@boldkidswear.com with:
-
your name;
-
your order number;
-
the item(s) concerned; and
-
a brief explanation of the issue (e.g. change of mind, wrong size, faulty).
We’ll confirm next steps and provide:
-
the correct returns address for your parcel; and
-
any reference you need to include inside/on the package.
